Prayer Request
Macy's blood pressure is very high, and they admitted her to the UNM Hospital a few hours ago. We need to pray specifically. First, they need to be able to IV treat her, and they are having a very difficult time getting a vein for treatment. Pray that her veins will cooperate. Secondly, we need to pray for an immediate lowering of her blood pressure. Finally, continue to speak words of healing over Macy. None of us realize just how much trauma her body went through earlier this week. She probably has overdone it and her body is reacting to all of the trauma. God is cradling her in his hands as we speak, and she is calm. Mark needs our prayers for wisdom and peace. Pray that the Holy Spirit will descend on Macy supernaturally lowering her blood pressure and healing her. The Great Physician is at work. Zoey is doing great, and today they took her off of the ventilator. We continue to praise God as we see Him at work in Mark, Macy and Zoey. Thank you for praying in faith for healing. Shelly is returning from Lubbock now and will go to Albuquerque in the morning. Continue to pray for safe travel for everyone. EJC

For Macy, especially, but also for the whole family:

I am praying for your family, and for Macy's health. Baby Zoey is precious! I have followed your story since Mindy (my best friend) sent me the beautiful pictures of Zoey on her first flight! I don't know if you know but my daughter was born two months premature and was on a vent as well. She is now eleven months old and perfect in every way. I hope that Macy and her blood pressure return to normal and I will continue to pray for baby Zoey and your family!

Mark, Macy, Zoey, and the rest of our family...this is a verse God gave me recently...Psalm 33:22 "May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you." While we might be emotionally and physically exhausted let us remember that the Creator of the universe loves us without fail and that one of the best places to be, even while it is difficult at times, is where we have no other choice than to rest in knowing He, Our Creator, is still in complete control. Let's not forget where our hope lies and try to REST in Him in these moments that face us. I love you all and I am so blessed to be a part of our family!!
